LTO Calls Out Yanna Vlog After Viral Zambales Road Rage Clip: 'Use Your Influence Responsibly'

In today’s age of viral videos and influencers, even a single road encounter can spark a national conversation — and that’s exactly what happened to motorcycle vlogger Yanna Vlog.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has officially summoned Yanna after a video of her getting into a heated roadside confrontation in Zambales made the rounds online. The clip showed Yanna flashing a middle finger at a pick-up truck driver, claiming he was driving recklessly on a rough road. Things didn’t end there. The pick-up driver later confronted her, and though he tried to explain his side calmly, Yanna continued to argue — even throwing a few insults his way after he walked away.

Now, the LTO is asking: Should someone like Yanna — with a driver’s license and a social media following — be setting this kind of example on the road?

Atty. Vigor Mendoza II, LTO Chief and Assistant Secretary, didn’t mince words. “We’ve said this again and again — road rage doesn’t lead to anything good,” he said. “As a content creator, she should’ve used her platform to promote responsible driving, not to stir conflict.”

President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. has already made road safety a priority, and the Department of Transportation under Secretary Vince Dizon is backing that up by promising to crack down on reckless and irresponsible drivers.

Even though Yanna has since apologized online after facing backlash, Asec. Mendoza made it clear that the LTO’s investigation will push through. She now has to explain why her driver’s license shouldn’t be suspended — or worse, revoked.

So, what’s the takeaway here? Whether you’re behind the wheel or behind the camera, there’s no place for road rage. And if you’re an influencer, all eyes are on you — even on the highway.
