Maan Teodoro Backs Husband Marcy: 'These Allegations Are A Big Lie'

Two criminal complaints accusing Marikina 1st District Representative Marcelino “Marcy” Teodoro of acts of lasciviousness and sexual assault have been filed before the National Prosecution Service, the Department of Justice confirmed on Thursday.
DOJ spokesperson Assistant Secretary Mico Clavano said the complaints came from two female police officers who had previously served as Teodoro’s close-in security at different times.
But Marcy’s wife, Marikina Mayor Maan Teodoro, was quick to defend him.
“As Marcy’s wife, I know him best,” she said. “I know his heart, his character, and his integrity. I stand beside him because I know the truth.”
She slammed the accusations as false and hurtful, not only to their family but also to the people of Marikina.
“These allegations are not true. They are a complete nonsense,” she declared. “These accusations are not only false, they are deeply painful for our family and for the people of Marikina who truly know who Marcy is.”
