Nxled Reloads With Five Key Signings Ahead Of PVL 2026

The Chameleons officially kicked off their rebuild on Tuesday, announcing the signing of five new players as they begin reshaping their roster for the 2026 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.
Leading the fresh faces are veteran outside hitter Jonah Sabete, seasoned setter Djanel Cheng, and middle blockers Ranya Musa, Aby Maraño, and Aduke Ogunsanya—a mix of championship experience and much-needed depth.
Notably, Sabete, Cheng, and Musa all came from Petro Gazz, a move that immediately caught attention. The trio were part of the Angels’ championship core, helping deliver four PVL titles, and their arrival signals that Nxled is serious about building a more competitive squad—weeks before the conference even opens.
Maraño, who last suited up for Chery Tiggo, brings leadership and proven presence at the net, while Ogunsanya adds size and stability to a frontline that already features Krich Macaslang and Jaycel delos Reyes.
The roster shake-up, however, also came with goodbyes. Nxled parted ways with Jaila Atienza, Maji Mangulabnan, Lycha Ebon, Rachel Jorvina, and Jaja Maraguinot. Since then, Atienza has landed with Choco Mucho, Jorvina moved to Capital1, and Ebon joined the revamped Galeries Tower lineup.
Despite the changes, the Chameleons are keeping a solid core intact. Team captain Chiara Permentilla, fourth overall pick Lyann de Guzman, along with EJ Laure, Jovelyn Fernandez, Lucille Almonte, Mayang Nuique, and Macaslang remain part of the Etorre Guidetti-coached group.
With new names in and familiar faces staying put, Nxled’s rebuild is clearly underway—and the Chameleons look ready to make some noise in the upcoming PVL season.
