Sta. Rita, Pampanga is officially joining over 200 local government units across the country to launch the Paleng-QR Ph Plus program. This is great news for both vendors and customers.

The main goal of this initiative is to expand the use of QR Ph-our country's national standard for quick response codes-when paying in public markets, for public transportation, and at various businesses. This essentially makes it easier and faster for people to pay for goods and services using their mobile phones.

To help everyone transition smoothly, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Regional Economic Affairs Staff also held a digital financial literacy session. They provided essential information to market vendors, business owners, public vehicle drivers, and other stakeholders so they know exactly how to use this new, convenient payment system. Sta. Rita is making transactions simpler and safer for everyone.
