The Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival returns for its third year, once again opening its doors to filmmakers with stories worth telling. True to its vision of championing Filipino creativity, the festival is offering its most generous support to date, raising opportunities for both established and emerging voices in cinema.

Seven filmmakers will be given a grant of ₱5 million each to produce full-length films, while twenty student filmmakers will receive ₱200,000 each to bring their short films to life. This expanded support reflects CinePanalo’s commitment to helping more stories find their place on screen, whether through ambitious features or the fresh perspectives of student works.

Submissions for the full-length category will be accepted until September 10, 2025, while entries for the student short film category may be sent in until November 25, 2025. Application forms are available online for both categories.

As CinePanalo grows, it continues to carve a space for stories that resonate with Filipino audiences. With bigger grants now in place, this year’s festival looks to celebrate not only films, but also the voices and visions of the storytellers behind them.
