POC To Give Cash, iPhones To Asian Youth Games Medalists

Winning gold just got even sweeter for our young Filipino athletes!
The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) announced that all gold medalists from the recent 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain will each receive a ₱500,000 cash incentive as a reward for bringing pride to the country.
Silver medalists aren’t left behind — they’ll take home ₱300,000, while bronze finishers will receive ₱100,000 each.
But wait, there’s more!
Thanks to Sports Plus PH, the official gaming partner of the POC, all medalists are also getting the latest tech treats:
• iPhone 17 Pro Max for gold winners
• iPhone 17 for silver and bronze medalists
The POC says this is their way of recognizing the hard work, dedication, and excellence of the country’s next generation of sports stars.
“Every medal represents sacrifice and determination — our athletes deserve nothing less,” the committee said.
