President Marcos Launches Online Platform For Direct Public Reporting On Flood Control Issues

“Now, you have someone you can turn to.”
This was the assurance of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. as he unveiled sumbongsapangulo.ph, an online platform that allows citizens to directly report concerns and irregularities related to the government’s flood control projects.
The initiative aims to give the public a straightforward channel to voice their complaints and observations—ensuring that issues reach the highest level without being lost in bureaucratic layers.
During the launch, President Marcos also shared the results of the initial investigation into flood control projects implemented between July 2022 and May 2025. The review was conducted following his directive in the 2025 State of the Nation Address, which called for a thorough assessment to prevent a repeat of the severe flooding experienced in various parts of the country.
By combining transparency, public participation, and stronger oversight, the government hopes to address long-standing issues in flood management and improve disaster resilience nationwide.
