The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) rebounded on Tuesday, November 12, 2025, closing 84.95 points higher at 5,714.02, up 1.51% from the previous day, as investor confidence returned following days of sluggish trading.
According to data from the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), total value turnover reached ₱6 billion, with 102 gainers, 86 losers, and 50 issues unchanged—reflecting a cautiously optimistic market mood.
Despite the positive finish, foreign investors remained net sellers, recording ₱3.45 billion in foreign buying against ₱3.49 billion in foreign selling, resulting in net foreign outflows of ₱36.3 million.
Analysts said the uptick suggests renewed buying momentum among local investors amid easing inflation concerns and expectations of stronger corporate earnings toward the year-end. The gains also came as regional markets posted similar recoveries, with traders showing optimism ahead of key economic data releases.
Market watchers, however, continue to urge caution, noting that while the day’s performance signals short-term strength, sustained growth will depend on continued stability in global oil prices, interest rates, and currency movements.
The PSEi has now regained some of its earlier losses, with investors closely watching whether this rally will continue in the coming trading sessions.
