The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) slipped on Wednesday, closing at 5,959.94, down 16.70 points or 0.28%, as investors opted for a more cautious approach ahead of key market signals.

Foreign investors also continued their net selling streak. Foreign buying amounted to ₱3,534,968,568.36, while foreign selling totaled ₱4,322,049,939.27, resulting in a net foreign outflow of ₱787,081,370.91.

Analysts note that the market is still navigating global uncertainties and waiting for stronger catalysts that could drive more sustainable momentum.
