PSEi Dips Slightly As Market Sees Mixed Trading

MANILA — The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) ended the day at 6,389.81, slipping 18.95 points or 0.30% on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, as investors weighed mixed market signals.
Market activity remained steady with a total value of PHP 6.9 billion. Stocks were fairly balanced, with 95 advancing, 97 declining, and 71 unchanged.
Foreign investors were net buyers, with Php 3.33 billion in purchases and Php 3.04 billion in sales, resulting in a net foreign inflow of Php 291.46 million.
Despite the small drop, analysts say the market continues to show resilience amid fluctuating global and local cues.
