PSEi Edges Higher Despite Modest Trading Activity

The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) closed slightly higher on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, finishing at 5,994.40, up 5.11 points or 0.09%.
Market activity was relatively subdued, with a total trading value of PHP 5.4 billion. Out of the total stocks traded, 97 advanced, 95 declined, and 59 remained unchanged.
Foreign investors were net sellers for the day, with foreign buying at PHP 3.27 billion and foreign selling at PHP 3.45 billion, resulting in a net foreign outflow of PHP 179.48 million.
Despite the modest gain, the market remains cautious as investors weigh both local and global factors.
