PSEi Rises Slightly As Investors Trade Cautiously Ahead Of Month-End

The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) edged higher on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, closing at 5,963.77, up by 10.61 points or 0.18%.
Trading remained modest, with the total value turnover reaching PHP 6.4 billion. Market breadth was positive, showing 110 gainers, 74 losers, and 61 unchanged issues.
Foreign investors were net sellers for the day, with foreign buying at PHP 3.68 billion and foreign selling at PHP 4.16 billion, resulting in net foreign selling of PHP 477.97 million.
Despite the slight uptick, analysts note that the index continues to hover near the 6,000 level as investors remain cautious amid global market uncertainties and domestic inflation concerns.
