PSEi Slips As Investors Take A Breather

The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) ended lower on Thursday, October 9, 2025, closing at 6,057.40, down 41.34 points or 0.68%, as investors locked in gains and remained cautious amid global market jitters.
Trading was relatively moderate, with a total value turnover of ₱6.5 billion. Market breadth leaned negative — 72 issues advanced, 135 declined, and 55 remained unchanged.
Foreign investors posted net buying worth ₱112.15 million, with total foreign buying at ₱2.89 billion against foreign selling of ₱2.78 billion.
