Regasco To Roll Back LPG Prices Starting July 1 As Global Rates Drop
Starting July 1, 2025, Regasco will implement a rollback of ₱1.50 per kilogram on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), translating to a price reduction of ₱16.50 for an 11-kg cylinder commonly used in households.

This adjustment comes in response to a $25 per metric ton decrease in the international contract prices of both Propane and Butane, as set by Saudi Aramco, which serves as the global benchmark for LPG pricing.

The global price movement is largely attributed to improving geopolitical conditions in the Middle East and shifts in the balance between supply and demand across international markets. With tensions easing in key oil-producing regions, supply chains have stabilized, prompting downward pressure on prices.

Regasco’s price rollback reflects these global trends and is expected to bring welcome relief to consumers already facing a range of economic pressures. Industry observers also note that continued monitoring of international developments will be key in anticipating future pricing adjustments.

For now, consumers can expect slightly lower cooking gas expenses, a modest but timely reprieve heading into the second half of the year.
