Residents of Cavite are in for a festive treat as Riverpark in Imus announced a three-day celebration of culture, cuisine, and cinema with its upcoming Riverpark Film and Food Festival happening from December 5 to 7, 2025.
The event will take place at Square 2, Riverpark, transforming the open space into a lively holiday hub complete with Japanese flavors, outdoor movies, and Christmas-season energy perfect for families and groups of friends looking for a weekend escape.
One of the main highlights is Merry Matsuri, a three-day Japanese food festival running from December 5 to 7. Visitors can expect festive dishes inspired by Japan’s rich street-food culture — from savory favorites to sweet seasonal specialties. Organizers say the goal is to bring the warmth of Japanese matsuri traditions closer to Caviteño holiday celebrations.
On December 6, the venue turns into a cozy outdoor cinema for a one-night-only film festival, where guests can enjoy movies under the stars. The lineup is expected to feature a mix of crowd-pleasers and holiday-season favorites.
Riverpark invites the public to join the celebration and make the most of the long holiday month. With culture, food, movies, and Christmas vibes all happening in one place, organizers say the festival aims to give Cavite residents a memorable year-end experience.
The announcement also encourages guests to “Save the dates and bring your family or friends for a weekend filled with culture, food, and holiday fun!”
