Rousseaux Unleashes 38-Point Storm As Farm Fresh Shocks Nxled In PVL Opener

Belgian import Eli Rousseaux made her presence felt in her PVL debut as Farm Fresh stunned Nxled in four sets, 22-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-21, to open their Reinforced Conference campaign on Thursday night.

After skipping the last conference to regroup, the Foxies roared back with purpose, bouncing from a first-set loss to take control of the next three — powered by Rousseaux’s monster 38-point explosion, one of the most dominant performances in PVL import history.

The 6-foot-2 Belgian ace torched the Chameleons with a mix of sharp spikes, clever tips, and steady defense, adding three blocks and clutch plays that kept Nxled at bay in the closing stretch.

Local stars Trisha Tubu and Ces Molina chipped in 10 and 9 points, respectively, while Alohi Robins-Hardy orchestrated the offense with poise, helping the Foxies outgun Nxled in attacks, 58-40.

“I'm happy but tired,” Rousseaux laughed after the match. “We started nervous, but we improved our rhythm and trusted each other more as the game went on.”

Chiara Permentilla led Nxled with 18 points, while Paola Martinez added 15, but their early fire faded as Farm Fresh settled in.

After struggling in past seasons, the Foxies seem ready to rewrite their story — and with Rousseaux leading the charge, the rest of the PVL might just be on notice.
