Russia Accuses US Of Recruiting Filipinos For Combat In Ukraine
Screengrab from Russian Foreign Ministry
Russia is accusing the United States of quietly recruiting Filipinos to fight in the ongoing war in Ukraine.

According to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova, a Florida-based company called RMS International is supposedly offering $5,000 a month to Filipinos willing to serve as fighters on the Ukrainian side. She claims that US instructors are already conducting training sessions.

Zakharova further alleged that these recruits are being issued Schengen visas through the German Embassy in Manila, supposedly making it easier for them to travel to Europe.

None of these claims have been independently verified, and both US and Philippine officials have yet to release formal statements responding to Russia’s accusations.
