Samsung is taking a bold new step into the desktop world. The tech giant has officially launched the beta version of Samsung Internet for PC, marking the first time its popular mobile browser is available on desktop.
The move is part of Samsung’s broader vision to create a connected, intelligent browsing experience across its Galaxy ecosystem — from smartphones to PCs and beyond.
“As we expand Samsung Internet to PC, we’re excited to invite users to shape the future of browsing with us,” said Won-Joon Choi, Chief Operating Officer of Samsung’s Mobile eXperience (MX) Business. “This beta program unlocks a more connected experience across mobile and PC, while setting the stage for more intelligent browsing experiences to come.”
A Seamless Experience Across Devices
Samsung Internet for PC makes it easy for users to sync bookmarks, browsing history, and saved passwords between devices. Thanks to Samsung Pass, users can securely autofill login details or personal profiles wherever they browse.
Switching between devices has also become smoother. If you start reading an article on your phone, Samsung Internet for PC can prompt you to pick up right where you left off when you switch to your computer.
Galaxy AI Joins the Browser
The browser isn’t just about syncing — it’s also getting smarter. With Galaxy AI integration, users logged into their Samsung account can access features like Browsing Assist, which can summarize or translate web pages in seconds. It’s designed to make finding information faster and more intuitive.
Security You Can Trust
Samsung made sure privacy remains at the core. The PC browser includes smart anti-tracking to block data collection by third parties and a Privacy Dashboard that lets users view and control their security settings in real time.
Laying the Groundwork for Ambient AI
According to Samsung, this beta marks the start of a new era where browsing becomes more adaptive and personal. The company envisions ambient AI — technology that quietly anticipates user needs and integrates seamlessly into daily life.
Availability
The Samsung Internet for PC beta is rolling out starting October 30, 2025, for Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) and Windows 11 users in the United States and Korea, with plans to expand soon.

With this launch, Samsung isn’t just entering the PC browser race — it’s redefining what a connected, AI-powered web experience could look like across the Galaxy.
