Paris pulsed with energy from October 10 to 12 as Samsung turned the Vredestein 20km de Paris weekend into a celebration of fitness, creativity, and cutting-edge technology. From marathon runners to skateboard pros, everyone got a taste of how Galaxy wearables power up performance, wellness, and connection.
Wellness Meets Innovation: Health Immersion Session
At the heart of it all was Samsung’s Health Immersion Session, a special event that showed how the Galaxy Watch8 can be a game-changer for everyday wellness.
Global health experts led inspiring discussions:
• Dr. Julie Smith, clinical psychologist and bestselling author, guided participants through mindfulness and meditation for emotional balance.
• Dr. Dong-seon Chang, brain scientist, explained how sleep and exercise fuel better brain health and stress recovery.
• Nisha Melvani, nutritionist and author, shared tips on maintaining balanced nutrition for sustained energy.
The session highlighted how wearable tech isn’t just about tracking — it’s about truly transforming your lifestyle.
Running Smart: Galaxy Watch8 Takes the Spotlight
During the Vredestein 20km de Paris Expo, runners and visitors got hands-on with the Galaxy Watch8 and Samsung Health through fun, interactive stations:
• Run and Monitor: Try out your heart rate tracking on a self-powered treadmill.
• Know Your Sleep Animal: Discover your sleep type and get tailored rest advice.
• Antioxidant Index: Check your nutrition levels and learn how fruits and veggies affect your body’s recovery.
• Selfie Wall: Snap your race goals and share your wellness journey.
Samsung also launched the RunnerzZz Program, connecting passionate runners from seven countries under one motto — “Sleep Better, Run Better.” Participants used the Galaxy Watch8 during their pre-race jogs and the main event, sharing their wellness stories online to inspire others.
After crossing the finish line, runners headed to the Samsung Health Victory Selfie Zone, celebrating their achievements — and of course, their best post-run selfies.
Street Culture Meets Smart Tech
The celebration didn’t stop at the track. Over at the Street League Skateboarding (SLS) competition, Samsung mixed tech with culture. Fans flocked to the Samsung booth for an immersive audio-visual experience, snapping selfies with the Galaxy Z Flip7’s FlexCam — the perfect gadget for capturing that skate energy.
Skaters themselves hit the ramps wearing Galaxy Buds3 Pro, showing off tricks in sync with music and motion. Each flip and grind reflected how Samsung’s tech blends seamlessly with modern lifestyles — bold, creative, and full of movement.
A Weekend of Wellness, Tech, and Connection
From running routes to skate parks, Samsung transformed Paris into a playground for wellness and creativity. The message was clear: with the right tech, living healthy and staying connected can be both fun and empowering.
