Soft Source is set to make its biggest splash yet at Gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Germany, bringing not only nine exciting indie games to the show floor but also the creators themselves. The Singapore-based publisher is turning Hall 10-2, Stand F004g into a hub of creativity, play, and connection for fans and developers alike.
Meet the Makers Behind the Games
This year, Soft Source is placing the spotlight on the people behind the pixels. Development teams from Southeast Asia and beyond are traveling to Cologne to personally showcase their work. Visitors can expect to meet the minds behind DreadOut 3’s eerie atmosphere and the Filipino pixel artists shaping Bloodbreaker’s haunting gothic maze.
The booth is designed as more than a showcase of games. Impromptu question-and-answer sessions, behind-the-scenes stories, and personal conversations will give visitors the chance to connect directly with the developers. Fans can also look forward to having merchandise signed and sharing their own gaming experiences with the creators.
Nine Indie Experiences, Countless Memories
Soft Source’s lineup at Gamescom covers a wide range of genres and styles. Horror enthusiasts can immerse themselves in DreadOut 3 or step into the surreal nightmares of Midnight Dreams. Those who prefer fast-paced challenges can take on the cursed labyrinth of Bloodbreaker or shred through the underworld in Grim Trials, complete with its heavy metal soundtrack.
For players seeking something more lighthearted, As I Began to Dream offers a hand-drawn adventure through a dreamlike world, while Kejora and friends lead a puzzle-platforming journey to solve a village mystery. Bahamut and the Waqwaq Tree invites players into a tranquil, mythology-inspired dive beneath the waves. Retro action returns in Mighty Knight Legacy, while families and younger players can enjoy the colorful chaos of Wolley’s Dungeon Adventure, where a lovable creature inhales and spits out enemies in playful fashion.
With such a diverse collection, there is an indie experience for every kind of player, each one promising memories that will last well beyond the Gamescom show floor.
