Speaker Dy Revokes Rep. Co's Travel Clearance; Orders Immediate Return

Speaker of the House Faustino “Bojie” Dy III has formally revoked the travel clearance of Ako Bicol Partylist Representative Zaldy Co, directing him to return to the Philippines within 10 days to address pressing national matters.
A notice, dated September 18, 2025, and signed by Speaker Dy, was sent to the lawmaker. It advises Representative Co that his travel clearance for a personal trip has been "REVOKED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY."
The document states that the revocation is issued in the paramount interest of the public and due to the existence of pressing national matters requiring your physical presence.
The notice further instructs Representative Co to "return to the Philippines within ten (10) calendar days from your receipt of this notice. It emphasizes that his immediate return is necessary to address the aforementioned matters with urgency.
The communication also warns that failure to comply with the directive within the prescribed period shall be construed as a refusal to subject yourself to the lawful processes of the House of Representatives and may result in the initiation of appropriate disciplinary and legal actions.
