Unemployment Drops In November 2025

The job market showed a bit of relief in November as fewer Filipinos were left looking for work.
According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, the unemployment rate slipped to 4.4% in November 2025, improving from 5.0% in October. That means fewer people were actively searching for jobs but couldn’t find one.
Because of this, the overall employment situation also improved. The country’s employment rate rose to 95.6%, up from 95.0% the previous month — a sign that more Filipinos found work during the period.
The PSA says it will continue monitoring labor conditions as economic activities shift, but for now, the latest figures suggest the job market is heading in a better direction.
