Vico Sotto Attends Pasig Peace Covenant; Throws Shade At Rival's Publicity Stunt

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, along with most local candidates, attended the PEACE COVENANT at Sta. Clara de Montefalco Parish this morning. The event, organized by COMELEC Pasig in collaboration with PPCRV, PNP, and AFP-JTF, is a pre-election tradition held a day before the campaign period kicks off.
Taking to social media, Sotto wished all candidates luck, emphasizing the importance of truth, fairness, and peace during the campaign and elections. But in true Vico fashion, he didn’t let a political stunt slide.
Sotto addressed claims from his rivals that they had invited him to a separate peace covenant, making it clear that such events are COMELEC-led, not candidate-organized. He pointed out the irony, saying, “Nakakatuwa lang na yung nagsasabing ayaw ko ng peace covenant, sila naman ang hindi dumalo.”
With the 2025 elections officially on the horizon, it looks like the political drama in Pasig is already heating up.
