Zaldy Co Drops New Video Detailing Alleged Cash Deliveries To Marcos, Romualdez

Former Ako Bicol Rep. Zaldy Co has released a new video on his Facebook page, offering what he calls a “more detailed” account of the alleged P56-billion cash deliveries he supposedly made for former House Speaker Martin Romualdez and President Bongbong Marcos from 2022 to 2025.
In his post, Co claimed he was ordered to deliver “male-maletang pera” for both officials, even sharing photos he said were proof of the transactions. He also reiterated that he did not receive—or benefit from—any budget insertions during the period.
But Co’s latest video went further, painting a picture of tension behind the scenes. According to him, President Marcos grew upset despite the supposed deliveries being completed.
“Noong November 2024, habang nasa proseso kami ng pagtatalakay ng budget, nakipag-meeting sa amin ni Speaker Martin si Usec. Jojo Cadiz. Sabi niya, masama raw ang loob ni Pangulong Marcos. Wala raw siyang natatanggap na remittance,” Co said.
He also claimed that Romualdez pushed him to hand over an additional amount after repeatedly being scolded by the President.
“At dahil laging napapagalitan si Speaker Martin ng Pangulo mula September hanggang November, inutusan niya ako na mag-deliver ng P1 bilyon para kay BBM,” he added.
Co further alleged that he was told directly about how the supposed funds would be divided.
“Sinabi mismo ni Speaker Martin sa akin na hati sila ni Pangulong Marcos sa perang iyon,” he said in his video.
The former lawmaker insists he simply followed orders and that all the deliveries were made as instructed.
His claims—serious and explosive—are now circulating widely online, once again fueling public discussion over alleged budget anomalies involving top government officials.
