Teletigers Esports Club (TGR) has officially released a statement regarding the termination of Jigen Paul Dwagne Masangkay, also known as "Jigen Paul," who served as a former coach of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team. The organization revealed that Jigen Paul's contract began on August 7, 2023, but he has been inactive since late November 2023.

The organization emphasized that neither its management nor the MLBB managerial staff and players were aware of Jigen Paul's external actions. However, due to serious allegations including match-fixing, fraud, and other unsportsmanlike behavior, TGR has terminated his Collegiate Esports Staff Agreement immediately.

Effective immediately, Jigen Paul is permanently banned from all organizational activities and future events. Teletigers Esports Club underscored its zero-tolerance policy for any form of fraud, gambling, or unsportsmanlike behavior.

This decisive action sends a clear message to current and future members of the organization, reaffirming TGR's commitment to upholding integrity and ensuring the well-being and reputation of its members.

In a related development, Duckeyyy, the MLBB head coach for BREN Esports, has publicly condemned the alleged match-fixing activities, vowing to uncover those involved and deal with them appropriately.
