Voter Registration To Resume On August 1-10, 2025: What You Need To Know

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has announced that voter registration will officially resume from August 1 to 10, 2025. This period marks the continuation of the System of Continuing Registration of Voters, giving eligible Filipinos another opportunity to ensure their records are up-to-date and that they are able to participate in upcoming elections.
During this 10-day window, the COMELEC will be accepting applications for various services. These include new voter registration, transfer of registration, correction of entries, reactivation of deactivated records, inclusion or reinstatement of names in the voter list, and updating records for persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and members of Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous Cultural Communities. Voters who previously registered overseas but have returned to the Philippines may also transfer their records back to their local precincts during this period.
Registration offices will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, and will remain open even on weekends and holidays, unless otherwise announced by COMELEC. This extended schedule is meant to accommodate as many applicants as possible.
For those seeking reactivation of their records, COMELEC is also accepting online applications. Voters who need to reactivate their registration — with or without transfer, correction, or updating of records — may submit their applications via email to their local Office of the Election Officer. COMELEC has made the official email directory of these offices available on its website for easy reference.
In addition, the Register Anywhere Program (RAP) will be implemented from August 1 to 7, 2025, in the National Capital Region and selected areas in Regions III and IV-A. This program offers greater convenience to voters by allowing them to register in designated locations outside their home precincts.
