As of 4:00 PM on June 11, 2025, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reports the continued influence of the Southwest Monsoon across many parts of the country. A low pressure area (LPA) was spotted at 3:00 PM approximately 600 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Wutip, which remains outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), was located 875 kilometers west of Northern Luzon and is moving west-northwest at 30 kilometers per hour.

The Southwest Monsoon, or habagat, is currently affecting Central and Southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao. This weather pattern is expected to bring varying levels of rainfall and potential hazards to different regions.

Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro are forecast to experience monsoon rains, which may be moderate to heavy, and occasionally intense. These conditions could lead to flash floods or landslides, especially in low-lying or mountainous areas.

Areas including Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Cavite, Batangas, Romblon, Palawan, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Antique, Negros Occidental, Guimaras, and Northern Samar should prepare for occasional rains. The public is advised to be alert for possible flooding or landslides as rainfall could be moderate to heavy at times.

The rest of Central Luzon, the Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, other parts of the Visayas, and several areas in Mindanao including the Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and the Davao Region are expected to see cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall may be moderate to heavy, posing risks of localized flooding and landslides.

Meanwhile, the rest of Mindanao and Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. These are mostly due to localized thunderstorms, but severe conditions could still trigger flash floods or landslides.

Residents and local authorities are encouraged to monitor updates and advisories from PAGASA and to take necessary precautions, especially in areas prone to flooding or landslides.
