In a heartfelt post, Leni Robredo revealed that Aika’s gown was made using her late husband Jesse Robredo’s old barongs—transforming a cherished memory into part of a milestone moment. “Aika’s wedding gown was lovingly crafted from her Papa’s old barongs, making sure that he was honored and cherished on such an important milestone,” she wrote.

Jesse Robredo, a former Interior and Local Government secretary and long-time Naga City mayor, died in a plane crash in 2012. Despite his absence, his values and memory remain central to the family.
