Capital1 is making it clear — the Solar Spikers are going all-in for the 2026 Premier Volleyball League season.
On Wednesday, the team unveiled a big roster boost highlighted by the arrivals of former Chery Tiggo middle blocker Pauline Gaston and veteran Choco Mucho standout Cherry Nunag.
Coming off a quarterfinal run in last year’s Reinforced Conference, Capital1 is building around its young star and top draft pick Bella Belen — and the new additions are expected to give the squad both depth and experience.
Gaston brings versatility, being comfortable both as a middle blocker and wing spiker, while Nunag adds something every team needs: big-game toughness and international exposure up front.
The Solar Spikers also picked up familiar names: Jasmine Nabor and Shaya Adorador from Chery Tiggo, former Akari middle blocker Ezra Madrigal, Galeries Tower hitters France Ronquillo and Ysa Jimenez, and libero Rachel Jorvina from Nxled.
Nabor and Adorador arrive with championship experience, Madrigal reunites with coach Jorge De Brito, while Ronquillo and Jimenez are expected to provide instant offense when needed. Jorvina, meanwhile, strengthens the floor defense behind team captain Roma Mae Doromal.
With these moves, Capital1 suddenly looks deeper, steadier, and much more dangerous — and fans are already curious to see how this revamped lineup will look once the new PVL season begins.
