LG Brings Back The Wallpaper TV-Now Thinner, Wireless, And Brighter Than Ever

LAS VEGAS — LG Electronics is once again redefining how televisions look and feel at home with the return of its iconic Wallpaper TV, unveiled at CES 2026. The new LG OLED evo W6 combines an ultra-slim, wall-hugging design with true wireless connectivity and LG’s most advanced picture technology yet.
Measuring just nine millimeters thin, the Wallpaper TV is designed to sit flush against the wall, blending seamlessly into living spaces while delivering a premium viewing experience. LG achieved this sleek form by re-engineering the TV’s internal components, making it the world’s thinnest True Wireless OLED TV.
Instead of bulky cables, all external connections are housed in LG’s Zero Connect Box, which can be placed up to 10 meters away, sending visually lossless 4K video and audio wirelessly to the screen.
At the heart of the W6 is LG’s new Hyper Radiant Color Technology, which boosts brightness, color accuracy, and contrast while minimizing reflections. Paired with Brightness Booster Ultra, the display can reach up to 3.9 times brighter than conventional OLED TVs. It also earned Intertek’s Reflection Free Premium certification, making it ideal even for brightly lit rooms.
Powering the visuals is the new α11 AI Processor Gen3, featuring a significantly stronger neural processing unit that sharpens images without sacrificing natural detail.
Beyond watching TV, the W6 doubles as a design centerpiece through LG Gallery+, which transforms the screen into digital art, personal photos, or AI-generated visuals complete with mood-matching music.
Gamers are also well covered. The Wallpaper TV supports 4K at 165Hz, NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync Premium, and ultra-fast response times for smooth, low-latency gameplay.
LG’s webOS platform brings deeper personalization with Voice ID, Multi-AI features powered by Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot, and enhanced security through LG Shield, a CES 2026 Innovation Award winner.
