LG Electronics is offering a glimpse into the future of in-car living with the unveiling of LG P-pod 1.0, a next-generation digital cockpit designed to turn vehicles into personalized, connected living spaces.
Developed by LG’s Vehicle Solution (VS) Company, P-pod is a prototype platform that brings together AI, advanced displays, connectivity and driver-assistance technologies in a modular, human-centered cabin. It reflects LG’s vision of cars evolving beyond transportation into spaces that support daily life.
LG P-pod 1.0 explores empathetic interaction, allowing vehicles to recognize drivers, anticipate needs and respond more naturally through AI-powered voice systems and adaptive displays. The concept also focuses on multi-user personalization, delivering tailored entertainment, apps and recommendations to both drivers and passengers.
Beyond the cabin, the platform studies seamless connectivity between the car and the home, enabling users to control smart appliances, monitor home systems and continue entertainment on the road.
“By leveraging LG P-pod 1.0 as an incubator for LG’s mobility technologies, we’re taking a meaningful step toward our vision of a ‘Living Space on Wheels,’ where the vehicle becomes a personalized environment that supports every part of your lifestyle,” said Alexio Rhee, head of Global Customer Strategy at the LG Electronics VS Company.
LG is presenting P-pod 1.0 globally through its “LG on board” mobility campaign, highlighting how future in-car experiences can become smarter, more personal and seamlessly connected.
