Paolo Duterte Seeks Travel Clearance For Trips To 17 Countries

Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo Duterte has asked the House of Representatives for permission to travel abroad, listing 17 countries he intends to visit between December 15 and February 20, 2026.
According to the House Secretary General, Duterte formally submitted a letter requesting a travel clearance. In the document, he detailed the destinations he plans to visit, which include Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Belgium, among others.
As of now, the office of House Speaker Bojie Dy has not issued a response on whether the request has been approved.
