President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has ordered transportation and aviation authorities to coordinate with Malaysia and Singapore to ensure that the air assets linked to businessman Zaldy Co remain grounded.

In a statement, Marcos said he has directed both the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) to reach out to the two neighboring countries following the freeze order placed on Co’s aircraft under Misibis Aviation.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to prevent any escape attempts, saying, "You may have the money to run, but you cannot outrun the Republic of the Philippines."

The President also revealed updates from the Department of Justice (DOJ), which reported that Henry Alcantara has already returned ₱110 million, with another ₱200 million expected to follow.

According to Marcos, the administration is fully determined to recover what is owed to the nation: "This government intends to bring back every peso, every asset, every person responsible and return it to the Filipino people."

The developments signal a continued tightening of efforts to recover funds and hold those involved accountable as investigations proceed.
