PSEi Inches Higher Despite Net Foreign Selling

November 21, 2025 — The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) closed at 5,997.13, up 66.32 points or 1.12%, continuing its positive streak despite net foreign outflows.

Trading value reached PHP 9.1 billion, with 118 advancing stocks, 75 declining, and 53 unchanged. Foreign investors sold Php 5.94 billion worth of shares while buying Php 3.97 billion, resulting in a net foreign selling of Php 1.97 billion.

Analysts note that local investors helped support the market’s gains, showing confidence in key sectors even as foreign selling weighed on the index.
