PSEi Rallies Over 60 Points Despite Net Foreign Selling

December 5, 2025 – The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) finished the day at 5,949.22, climbing 61.64 points or 1.05% amid mixed market sentiment.

Market activity showed a total trading value of PHP 5.8 billion, with 83 stocks advancing, 95 declining, and 69 remaining unchanged.

Foreign investors were net sellers today, with Php 2.82 billion in buying versus Php 3.42 billion in selling, resulting in a net foreign outflow of Php 598.26 million.

Despite the net foreign selling, local investors helped lift the market, reflecting cautious optimism ahead of end-of-year market movements.
