The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) bounced back above the 6,000 mark on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, as renewed foreign buying lifted the market to a positive close. The benchmark index ended the session at 6,004.70, gaining 28.53 points or 0.48%.
Trading activity was brisk, with total value turnover reaching ₱12.2 billion. Market breadth was neutral, showing 89 advancers, 89 decliners, and 66 unchanged issues.
Foreign investors were notably active, recording ₱6.97 billion in buying versus ₱4.59 billion in selling — resulting in a strong net foreign buying of ₱2.39 billion. Analysts say this influx helped support the market’s upward shift and restore momentum above the key psychological level.
The balanced market movement and improved foreign sentiment suggest investors are cautiously optimistic as they await more economic indicators in the coming days.
