Philippine stocks ended Monday’s session on a positive note, with the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) climbing higher as local investors continued to support the market.

On December 15, 2025, the PSEi closed at 6,058.02, gaining 21.30 points or 0.35 percent, according to data from the Philippine Stock Exchange. Trading activity remained moderate, with total value turnover reaching PHP 6.3 billion.

Market breadth was upbeat, as 131 stocks advanced, outperforming 81 decliners, while 50 issues were unchanged, signaling generally positive sentiment across sectors.

Foreign investors, however, remained net sellers during the session. Foreign buying amounted to PHP 2.89 billion, while foreign selling reached PHP 3.24 billion, resulting in net foreign selling of PHP 348.50 million.

Despite continued foreign outflows, the index managed to stay above the 6,000 level, suggesting sustained interest from domestic investors as the market heads into the second half of December.
