The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) slumped on November 14, 2025, closing at 5,584.35, down 142.64 points or 2.49%, as investors unloaded shares amid continued market volatility.

Trading remained cautious throughout the day, with total value turnover reaching ₱6.2 billion. Market breadth also reflected the downtrend, with 133 decliners, only 64 advancers, and 51 unchanged issues.

Foreign investors were net sellers once again. Data showed foreign buying at ₱2.51 billion, while foreign selling hit ₱2.61 billion, resulting in net foreign selling of ₱104.62 million.

The sustained outflow and weak sentiment dragged several index-heavy names, contributing to the steep drop. Analysts say investors are still watching global cues and local economic indicators that may shape market direction in the coming days.
The market remains in a tight spot—but all eyes are on whether bargain hunters will step in as valuations continue to slip.
