The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) struggled on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, closing sharply lower at 5,905.84, down 88.56 points or 1.48% as broad-based selling weighed on the market.

Trading activity picked up, with total value turnover reaching PHP 6.8 billion. Market breadth leaned negative as 105 stocks declined, 86 advanced, and 46 were unchanged.

Foreign investors were major net sellers for the day. Foreign buying totaled PHP 3.14 billion, while foreign selling surged to PHP 4.40 billion, resulting in a steep net foreign outflow of PHP 1.25 billion.

The latest drop reflects heightened caution among traders as they continue to react to both domestic uncertainties and shifting global sentiment.
