The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) ended slightly lower on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, as investors engaged in profit-taking amid cautious trading.

The benchmark index closed at 5,756.66, down 22.46 points or 0.39%, reversing the previous session’s gains.

Market activity remained modest, with total value turnover reaching ₱6.6 billion. Trading results showed 74 advancers, 94 decliners, and 60 unchanged, reflecting a generally risk-off mood among investors.

Foreign investors also continued to unload shares, recording ₱2.25 billion in foreign buying against ₱3.56 billion in foreign selling. This resulted in a net foreign outflow of ₱1.31 billion, extending the market’s foreign selling streak.

With global sentiment still mixed and local catalysts limited, analysts say the market may continue to move cautiously in the coming days unless fresh economic data or policy signals emerge.
