The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) slid back below the 6,000 level on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, as heavy foreign selling dragged the market into the red. The benchmark index closed at 5,976.17, losing 45.42 points or 0.75% for the day.

Despite the dip, trading remained fairly active, with total value turnover reaching ₱9.5 billion. Market breadth was slightly negative as 89 issues advanced, 93 declined, and 66 ended unchanged.

Foreign investors were firmly on the selling side, recording ₱3.33 billion in foreign buying against ₱6.31 billion in foreign selling. This left the market with a sizable net foreign outflow of ₱2.98 billion, adding pressure to the index throughout the session.

The session’s performance reflects a cautious mood among investors, who continue to monitor global market movements and domestic economic signals.
