Several weather systems are bringing cloudy skies, rains, and strong winds across the country, with some areas facing possible flooding and rough seas.
The shear line is affecting parts of Northern and Central Luzon, including Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon, where moderate to heavy rains may trigger flash floods or landslides. The northeast monsoon continues to bring rains over parts of the Cordillera and Northern Luzon, while lighter, isolated rains are expected over Metro Manila, Ilocos, Central Luzon, and Batanes.
Meanwhile, the easterlies are causing scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas, as well as other parts of the country. The ITCZ is also affecting areas in Mindanao, including Davao, Sarangani, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, with similar wet conditions.
Moderate to strong winds are expected over Luzon and eastern sections of the Visayas and Mindanao, making sea conditions moderate to rough. The rest of the country will see generally fair to cloudy skies with possible isolated thunderstorms.
The public is advised to stay alert for sudden downpours, flooding, and hazardous sea travel.
