San Miguel Corporation president Ramon S. Ang has firmly denied circulating claims that he is preparing to enter politics, calling the speculation baseless.

Ang addressed the rumors after receiving a wave of messages about an online story suggesting he was gearing up for a political run. He clarified that he has no plans to seek public office, emphasizing that his work in the private sector remains his priority.

He explained that his contributions — from major infrastructure projects to community support initiatives — are most effective when done through business partnerships rather than political office. According to Ang, solving national challenges requires shared efforts among the government, private companies, and the public, not a single individual stepping forward.

Ang also assured supporters that he is committed to helping drive national development while staying outside the political arena. He thanked those who reached out to him and encouraged Filipinos to continue working together for the country’s progress.
