Samsung Electronics has announced the global launch of The Freestyle+ ahead of CES 2026, introducing a smarter, brighter AI-powered portable projector designed for flexible viewing across different spaces.

Building on the original Freestyle, the new model features enhanced brightness, a compact cylindrical design, and AI-driven screen optimization that allows users to simply point and play with minimal setup.

“The Freestyle+ reflects Samsung’s vision to create displays that adapt naturally to how people live and move between spaces,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “By combining true portability with intelligent AI that optimizes both the viewing environment and the content itself, The Freestyle+ makes it easier to enjoy a consistent, high-quality experience wherever you are.”

At its core is AI OptiScreen, which automatically adjusts the picture for different environments through features such as auto keystone correction, real-time focus, screen fitting, and wall color calibration. The projector is also supported by Vision AI Companion, enabling more natural interaction with content through enhanced Bixby and partner AI services.

Designed for everyday use and mobility, the Freestyle+ delivers 430 ISO Lumens, nearly double the brightness of its predecessor, and supports 180-degree rotation for projection on walls, ceilings, or floors. Built-in access to Samsung TV Plus, OTT apps, and Samsung Gaming Hub allows streaming and gaming without external devices, while a 360-degree speaker and Q-Symphony provide immersive sound.

Samsung will showcase the Freestyle+ at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6–9, with a phased global rollout planned for the first half of the year.
