Tyler, The Creator Named Apple Music's Artist Of The Year 2025

Tyler, The Creator has been officially crowned Apple Music’s Artist of the Year, capping off what the platform calls his most impactful and creatively fearless year yet.
From November 2024 to October 2025, Tyler reached all-time highs on Apple Music, with fans streaming more than 4.5 billion minutes of his music. His critically praised album CHROMAKOPIA set new personal records for first-day and first-week plays, while his surprise mid-tour release DON’T TAP THE GLASS debuted at No. 1 in over 55 countries.
“Tyler continues to prove that anything is possible… he inspires his peers and fans now, just as he will continue to inspire generations to come,” said Zane Lowe, Apple Music’s global creative director.
Tyler shared his gratitude: “To be this year’s Apple Music Artist of the Year, it’s sick… Please keep supporting folks who are a bit out of the box for how they do things.”
Beyond music, Tyler is set to make his feature-film debut in Marty Supreme and ends the year with five GRAMMY nominations across both albums.
Apple Music will honor him with its signature award featuring a custom silicon wafer at its core, and fans can celebrate with curated playlists rolling out across the platform.
