Good news for future Filipino architects—the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially released the results of the January 2026 Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA), just three working days after the exams concluded.

Out of 2,434 examinees, 1,998 successfully passed, according to the PRC. The exams were administered on January 20 and 22, 2026, across multiple testing centers nationwide, including Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Pampanga, Tacloban, Zamboanga, and several other key locations.

The Board of Architecture, led by Chairman Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente, together with board members Arch. Lynnda Marie B. Laraya and Arch. Miguel C. Guerrero III, supervised the conduct of the examination.

PRC also noted that the result of one examinee was withheld, pending final review of possible liabilities under the rules governing licensure examinations.

What’s Next for Passers?

Successful examinees can begin online registration for their Professional Identification Card (PIC) and Certificate of Registration starting March 23, 2026, through the PRC website at www.prc.gov.ph.

For initial registration, passers must personally appear and bring the following:

• Downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
• Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
• Two passport-sized photos (colored, white background, with complete name tag)
• Two sets of documentary stamps
• One short brown envelope

All successful examinees are required to personally sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Meanwhile, PRC said the date and venue of the mass oathtaking for newly licensed architects will be announced later.
