A total of 6,438 examinees passed the March 2026 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.
Out of 18,370 aspiring engineers who took the test across 19 testing centers nationwide, only about 35 percent made the cut—highlighting the exam’s continued difficulty.
The PRC said the results were released in just five working days, underscoring faster processing efforts in recent licensure examinations.
The exams were administered by the Board of Civil Engineering, led by Chairperson Engr. Praxedes P. Bernardo, along with members Engr. Pericles P. Dakay and Engr. Romeo A. Estañero.
According to the PRC, the result of one examinee has been withheld pending final determination of liabilities under existing rules.
Passing the civil engineering board exam marks a major milestone for graduates, opening opportunities in infrastructure, construction, and public works—industries expected to grow alongside ongoing national development projects.
Successful examinees may begin registration for their professional licenses starting May 8, 2026 through the PRC’s online system. Requirements include a completed oath form, notice of admission, passport-sized photos, documentary stamps, and a brown envelope. All passers must also personally sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Details regarding the oathtaking ceremonies will be announced at a later date, the PRC added.
