Alleged 2025 Power Shift Plan Raises Questions On Duterte Marcos Alliance
File
A document attributed to Ramil Madriaga and dated April 11, 2026 lays out explosive claims about an alleged long-term political strategy involving Rodrigo Duterte, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., and Sara Duterte.

According to the narrative, the supposed plan traces back to 2021, when Marcos Jr., alongside Imee Marcos, met with Duterte to discuss the upcoming 2022 elections. The account claims Marcos Jr. convinced Duterte to support Sara Duterte as his running mate instead of seeking the presidency herself.

The document further alleges that by November 2021, Duterte had already floated a controversial idea: allow Marcos Jr. to win the presidency, but only as part of a broader strategy to eventually return power to the Duterte camp by 2025. The goal, as claimed, was to maintain political influence while positioning Sara Duterte for a future presidential bid in 2028.

After Sara Duterte assumed the vice presidency, the account claims discussions allegedly continued behind closed doors, involving retired military officials. The supposed objective: remove Marcos Jr. from power by 2025, paving the way for Sara Duterte to take over while remaining eligible to run again in the next national elections.

The document also describes internal proposals, including the creation of a separate and independent security group for the vice president, distinct from the Presidential Security Group. It claims this idea was relayed to then Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, with a suggested headquarters at Camp Aguinaldo.

More controversially, the text outlines alleged strategies to weaken the Marcos administration through political pressure, including corruption allegations that could lead to impeachment. It goes on to describe increasingly extreme scenarios if such efforts failed—claims that include mass resignations, widespread protests, and coordinated unrest.

The document also details supposed roles assigned to individuals, including recruiting civilian groups and organizations to support these efforts—claims that, if true, would point to a highly organized and deeply controversial operation.

It is important to note that these are unverified allegations contained in a single document, and no official confirmation or evidence has been presented to support the claims. As of now, the individuals named have not publicly addressed the contents of this narrative.

The claims have raised serious questions about political alliances, long-term strategies, and the stability of leadership in the Philippines.
