Apple has unveiled the winners of the 2026 Apple Design Awards, recognizing 12 standout apps and games that pushed the boundaries of innovation, creativity, and user experience ahead of the company's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC26).

The awards celebrate developers from around the world whose work showcases exceptional design and technical excellence across Apple's platforms. This year's winners were selected from 36 global finalists and honored across six categories: Delight and Fun, Inclusivity, Innovation, Interaction, Social Impact, and Visuals and Graphics.

“This year’s Apple Design Award winners are a remarkable reflection of how developers are creating exceptional experiences,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. “Whether delivering intuitive features or exciting gameplay, these apps and games represent the very best of what our platform makes possible. We are incredibly proud to celebrate these developers and are grateful for their commitment to enriching the lives of people everywhere.”

Among the winners were the affirmation app *grug* and puzzle game *Is This Seat Taken?* for Delight and Fun, while *Guitar Wiz* and *Pine Hearts* earned recognition for promoting accessibility and inclusivity.

In the Innovation category, the NBA's immersive Apple Vision Pro experience and the mystery adventure game *Blue Prince* took top honors. Other winners included *Moonlitt: Moon Phase Tracker* and *Sago Mini Jinja’s Garden* for Interaction, as well as *Primary: News in Depth* and *Consume Me* for Social Impact.

Rounding out the list were *Tide Guide: Charts & Tables* and *Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition*, which won in the Visuals and Graphics category for their stunning design and visual presentation.

The annual Apple Design Awards are considered one of the highest honors for app and game developers, highlighting projects that not only showcase technical excellence but also create meaningful experiences for users worldwide.
