Barzaga Officially Joins PDP Laban

It’s now official—Cavite 4th District Representative Francisco Barzaga has formally joined PDP Laban after completing the party’s Basic Membership Seminar (BMS) on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
The seminar took place at the party’s national headquarters in Santa Mesa, where Barzaga went through an orientation on the core values, principles, and direction of PDP Laban. His oath-taking marked the final step in becoming an official member of the political party.
Leading the session were key party figures including Executive Director Joy Encabo, Education Chairperson Penny Belmonte, Legal Affairs Chairperson Yvette Contacto, and PDP Laban trainer JV Frech Marigondon. They walked participants through the party’s platform, advocacy, and long-term goals.
Barzaga’s move signals a significant political shift, as he aligns himself with PDP Laban ahead of future developments in the country’s political landscape.
